It wasnt His time to shine..

John 8: 58-59
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Then took up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Jesus Christ came to earth to serve His Father’s purpose. He healed the wounded; opened the eyes of the blind; preached the word of His Father and did many more miracles however people denied that He was the Son of God. He knew that the task at hand was not going to be an easy one, but He never stopped. His father’s purpose was for Him to die for everyone so that everybody’s sins can be washed away by His blood. God knew the right time for that to happen. There were moments where the non-believers, scribes and Pharisees wanted to capture Him but they couldn’t because it wasn’t His time to shine yet.

God has a purpose for everyone. You might be talented; hard working; focused and feeling like you deserve more than what you currently have, if God hasn’t said “yes” then it is not yet your time to shine. When you want to shine and it’s not God who islettingyou shine I guarantee you that there will be a time whenthe light will fade away because it doesn’t come from God. In other words don’t make yourself big but humble yourselfbefore God and let his mighty hand lift you upat the right time. It doesn’t matter if your friends have discovered their purpose and they are fulfilling it youas a child of the living God still have to wait for God to say to you “now is the right time”, and you will outshine everyone. (1 Peter 5:6)
