Jeremiah 15:18 KJV
Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?
Talking about faith and experiencing moments that really need faith is two different things. Do you know why? It is because it’s always easier said than done. There comes a time in a life of a Christian whereby they have to go through a “make it or break it” situation not because God is not there for them but because as much as we have been given to believe in Christ we have also been given to suffer for His sake. When that time comes it’s no longer about anybody else but it’s about you putting what you have heard and declared into action.
What you are going through might feel as if it’s permanent, but as long as God exists I want to tell you it’s not. Pain is meant for you to feel, as our South African soccer world cup slogan used to say "feel it it’s here" well that’s how pain is. Even if we’ve previously experienced it, and survived it through God’s grace, yet it just feels like we are facing something new every day. That is why it’s time for us to put our faith into action not by just decreeing it but by living it. Let us believe in what God’s Word tells us and trust in Him who knows our beginning and ending because with Him on our side nothing can be against us. No matter how much we are feeling it we cannot be destroyed. (Romans 8:31)
